18.5.17 | Dr. Marion Glaser, Head of the work group Social-Ecological Systems Analysis at ZMT, has been re-elected as Vice President of the German Society for Human Ecology (DGH). In her role as part of organisation’s board, she is responsible for international networking for the next two years.

Marion Glaser was also instrumental in setting up the DGH study group “Human Ecology in the Tropics”, and plans to involve more of ZMT’s partners in the group in future.

Founded over 40 years ago, the DGH provides a forum for experts from all sectors of environmental and related sciences to learn from and to discuss: professors and administrators, physicians and engineers, students and pensioners. Human Ecology is an innovative scientific discipline. Its research focus are the cause-effect relationships and the interactions between society, humanity and environment. Its core rests in a holistic perspective that includes physical, cultural, economic and political aspects.
