ZMT at Frankfurt Book Fair

12.10.17 | The Frankfurt Book Fair attracts more than 270,000 visitors and over 10,000 journalists each year. This weekend (October 14 /15), when the doors are open to the general public, the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) will present its virtual coral reef at the world’s largest book fair.

In Hall 4.2., where education and science are located, ZMT will be part of the new format “World of Learning” set up by the European Learning Industry Group (Elig), which is geared towards all age groups. Workshops and interactive idea laboratories will include do-it-yourself-activities. During so-called “sofa talks” guests from media, education and science debate new ideas of innovative learning.

Two years ago ZMT had also partnered up with Elig for the Frankfurt Book Fair to the format “Classroom of the Future” about digital learning environment. Elig’s presentations not only attract trade and private visitors but also federal ministers and political delegations.

Come and visit ZMT to dive through our virtual coral reef on October 14 and 15, 2017 at the Frankfurt Book Fair in Hall 4.1, 2nd floor, Stall N75!
