Lab manager of WG Coral Climatology:
- Laboratory organization/arrangement
- Laboratory inventory management
- Organization of the WG work plan
- Schedule management
- Budget management
- Supervision/guidance of WG employees (PHD students, HIWI, etc.)
- Contact to cooperation partners

Chemical Technician/Chemistry Lab:
- Complete analysis of biogenic calcium carbonate samples (e.g. corals)
                - age determination, sampling
                - pH value of the Ocean; Ocean acidification, Sea surface temperature and salinity of the ocean   
                                - Single element analysis (e.g. Sr, Ca, Mg, Li, B, U)
                                - Isotopes of boron, carbon and oxygen
- Method development
- Determination of Isotopes

Samples are taken and analyzed in the ZMT chemistry laboratory and in laboratories of cooperation partners
(e.g. MARUM-University of Bremen; Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, NYC).

Other Duties:
Supervision chemistry lab practical (ISATEC)
