24/08/2023 | On 12 September, the Leibniz Association is back with its autumn series of Book A Scientist and ZMT is contributing four expert chats. If you are curious and thirsty for knowledge you can book an exclusive, virtual appointment with Leibniz scientists at the Book a Scientist event. In personal conversations, our researchers will give an insight into their topics and their everyday work. They will answer individual questions and are looking forward to exchanging ideas. You can choose from more than 100 topics. All topics and time slots can be found here:  https://www.leibniz-gemeinschaft.de/bookascientist.

Talks with the following ZMT researchers can be booked:

Dr. Arjun Chennu: "How can Artificial Intelligence tools help to map and record coastal biodiversity?"

Dr. Maxime Colin: "What makes the monsoon and its tropical rain belt always late?"

Dr. Tim Dudeck: "From the Deep-Sea to the Beach – The influence of Deep Water organisms on food webs"

Wiebke Homes: "Schutz und Governance des Schweinswals in der Nordsee"

Interested parties can book 25-minute one-on-one meetings with a Leibniz expert. All you have to do is click on an available appointment on the Book a Scientist website and enter your contact details and one or two questions about the topic, so that the scientists know what might be of particular interest. The offer is free of charge. The talks take place online.
