05/07/2023 | Yesterday, the 16th “BMW Company Run for the Late Shift” took place in Bremen - and the ZMT went to the start with 26 runners and Jackson the dog.
Before the run started at 17:55:30, the ZMT team (start number 61) gathered for the official team photo.
The ZMT runners easily completed the five-kilometre course through the Pauliner Marsch along the Werdersee and the Yacht Marina. Before the finish line on the last bridge, the faster runners waited for the slower ones to cross the finish line together.
No times are taken at the company run. It is all about team spirit, collegiality and the fun of running – which was also the motivation for ZMT particpants. The run is also for a good cause – 5 euros of the entry fee will go to the Uganda well maintenance project and the construction of a maternity ward in Gambia.
