Research interests

I am a transdisciplinary scientist interested in human-nature interactions and in how relationships, institutions, power, and diverse perspectives shape environmental governance, conservation, and social outcomes. My research focuses on coastal social-ecological systems, their transformations, and collective responses to environmental change. I also support interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research projects in designing and implementing stakeholder engagement and knowledge co-production processes.

My specific research interests include:

• Social-ecological systems
• Social networks and discourses
• Political ecology, justice, and equity
• Resilience, adaptive capacity, and transformation
• Participatory and mixed-methods approaches
