ZMT auf der United Nations Ocean Conference in New York

1.6.17 | From 5 to 9 June 2017 the United Nations Conference to Support the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14 will be convened at United Nations Headquarters in New York. Goal 14 stipulates the conservation and sustainable use of the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.

The Conference, which coincides with World Oceans Day on June 8, aims to be the game changer that will reverse the decline in the health of our oceans. As part of the delegation of the International Ocean Institute (IOI), Dr. Werner Ekau (Director of IOI Germany) and Prof. Dr. Anna-Katharina Hornidge will join the Conference in New York, and represent the ZMT`s research and capacity development efforts at several side events in the German Pavillon.
