03/07/2019 | For the third time in as many years, employees of the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) took part in the Bremer BMW-Firmenlauf zur Spätschicht and successfully passed the finish line.

Our runners started as one of the first of 288 company teams with the number 20 and crossed completed the 5k in 32'58". But for the runners it’s not about the time, but much more about the fun and the joint achievement. Every runner also does a bit of good as organisers donate 5 Euro per particpant to the project “Brunnenbau in Uganda.

"That was a great achievement, and I would have loved to have been thre myself. We are very happy for our runners and hope that they and many of our colleagues will start again next year," says Dr. Nicolas Dittert, Managing Director of ZMT.
