Research interests
I am a research scientist specializing in the development and application of process-based and Earth System Models to investigate climate feedbacks across regional to global scales. My work integrates high-resolution model diagnostics with observational data to quantify interactions between physical and ecological processes under climate variability and change.
In support of the TropEcS initiative at ZMT, I am developing the ICON Land model to incorporate coastal wetland dynamics, with a focus on mangrove ecosystems, to improve their representation in Earth System Models and strengthen projections under future climate scenarios.
