On 7 June 2023, the members of the U Bremen Research Alliance will jointly organise the "Research Data Day". The ZMT is also taking part and will be offering a workshop on "Management of Research Data in Research Projects in the Tropics - Demand-Driven Research Data Services at ZMT" from 9:30 to 11:30. The workshop will be held in English and is organised by the Research Data Service of Birte Hemmelskamp-Pfeiffer and Alexandra Nozik. Application deadline: 2 June 2023.

About the workshop:

The Research Data Service at the ZMT aims at supporting researchers of the institute as well as of the tropical partner institutions in the management of their research data by providing services and products tailored to their needs. In short we will give an overview of needs-based research data services at ZMT, present tools for data collection in the tropics, show how data can be stored and processed collaboratively with tropical project partners and present how research data collected in the tropics can be published in compliance with FAIR and CARE principles.
