01.11.2018 | We are again looking for the best degree theses from the University of Bremen dealing with topics of sustainable use of resources, protection of environment, climate or the oceans. One PhD thesis and one Master thesis each will be honoured with the CAMPUS AWARD and a total of €3,000.

  1. When is the time for nominations?
    The period for nominations runs until November 30, 2018.
  1. What are the nomination requirements for the theses?
    Nominations can be entered for theses that strengthen sustainable research with their distinctive approaches, methods, results and practical relevance. The PhD or Master theses must have been obtained in the last two years. The work must be evaluated at the time of nomination.
  1. Who can nominate?
    Eligible to enter a nomination for the CAMPUS AWARD are ALL teaching staff at the University of Bremen (professors, private tutors (PDs), lecturers and others eligible to supervise PhD and Master theses).
    We would like to point out that theses from all faculties of the University of Bremen can be nominated; sustainability is a question for all researchers.
  1. How to nominate…
    The nomination form can be found on the website www.campuspreis.de. A direct application from the graduates is not possible, nominations have to be entered by teaching staff (see 3). The conditions of participation are also available on the website.

The “CAMPUS AWARD: Research for a sustainable future” is organised by the KELLNER & STOLL - STIFTUNG FÜR KLIMA UND UMWELT, the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research ( ZMT), the University of Bremen and the Alumni der Universität Bremen e.V.. Bremen-based companies ADLER Solar, REETEC and ecolo support the award ceremony.
