11.5.17 | Love Out loud was this years motto at the re:publica, the international digital fair in berlin. With its partner Science Year it initiated a track focussing on exciting questions regarding the oceans. With its 3-D-coral reef shown at its stand in the VR-Lab, the ZMT offered an informative as well as emotional insight into tropical coral reefs.
Hauke Reuter, head of the working group “Spatial Ecology and Interactions”, gave a talk presenting the potential of VR technique for the visualisation of reef research. About 9000 visitors came to the fair this year.
