We seek to better understand how hydrological processes regulate the transport and transformation of carbon, nutrients, and pollutants across coastal waters. Particular focus lies on identifying key processes controlling land coast connectivity, pathway-specific fluxes, and event-driven dynamics, and incorporating them into Earth system and regional hydrological modelling frameworks.
